I’ve read both books and tbh honest Brave new world seems much more conceivable, and realistic.

OK maybe I’m angry because 1984 is one of my favourite novels but if you really look at these dystopian book as bets on future, I would love to have a word with your high school english teacher. future won’t be that or this. FUTURE is what we make of it and if you think CCTVs, ACTA, illegally wired telephones, degenerated 'newspeak’ languages or thought crimes are not a part of our future you are completely oblivious of reality. I love brave new world as much as the next man but man, I lose it when people say 1984 is wrong and the other is right. I really cannot stand this shit.
